Winter post-holiday brunch will revive body, soul

My husband’s diet is called a “paleo diet” and it eliminates all grains, dairy, legumes and polished white sugarine and some other things subsequent from that, as good as fake preservatives and a like. Easy Breakfast Casserole

Total time: 50 minutes; prep time 25 minutes; prepare time, 25 minutes; serves 6

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons fat of choice (coconut oil or butter or ghee, etc.), melted

1 vast honeyed potato or yam, diced

½ teaspoon excellent sea salt

1½ bruise breakfast sausage

½ yellow onion, diced

2 cups chopped spinach

10 eggs, whisked

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Toss diced honeyed potatoes in fat and shower with salt. Place honeyed potatoes on baking piece and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until soft.

2. While honeyed potatoes are cooking, place a vast sauté vessel over center heat. Add breakfast sausage and yellow onion. Cook until no pinkish stays in meat.

3. Place beef reduction in baking dish, supplement honeyed potatoes and spinach, afterwards supplement eggs along with salt and garlic powder and brew until good combined.

4. Place in oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until eggs are set in a middle.

Apple Scones

Total time: 30 minutes; prep time, 15 minutes; bake time: minutes; serves 12

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ crater white sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

¼ crater butter, chilled

1 apple, peeled, cored and shredded

½ crater milk

2 tablespoons milk

2 tablespoons white sugar

½ teaspoon belligerent cinnamon

Directions:

1. Measure flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a vast bowl. Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly. Add shredded apple and milk. Stir to form a soothing dough.

2. Turn mix out onto a easily floured surface. Knead kindly 8 to 10 times. Pat into dual 6-inch circles.

3. Place mix on greased baking sheet. Brush tops with milk, and shower with sugarine and cinnamon. Score any into 6 pie-shaped wedges.

4. Bake during 425 F for 15 minutes, or until browned and risen. Serve comfortable with butter or pristine maple syrup.
