The Art of Baking – Pomeroy Daily Sentinel

MIDDLEPORT — Humor, cooperative banter, and tasty cookies noted a fourth installment of “The Art of Baking,” a cooking proof presented by a Riverbend Arts Council.

Rick Werner and Jessica Wolf presented 5 cookie recipes, all of that were found in a recipe boxes of their mothers, grandmothers, and aunts. Holiday baking is an fast bequest in many families, and a recipes common showcased a far-reaching operation of flavors that hallmark this gratifying time of year.

Werner and Wolf explained any step of a cookie-making process, from creaming a sugarine and butter or cutting to usually stirring a flour into a mix only until incorporated to forestall gluten from combining and causing a cookies to be tough.
