The 60 tastiest vegan dishes to tuck into during Leeds Restaurant Week

Vegans are good catered for during Eat Leeds Restaurant Week this month.

Leeds Restaurant Week is behind from Saturday Aug 11 to Sunday Aug 19, with some-more than 60 restaurants opposite Leeds city centre charity special dual and three-course menus for only £10 or £15.

Organisers LeedsBID have turn adult vegan-friendly venues holding partial in a nine-day event, from three-course feasts to tapas, Italian eats, pub muck and more.

Main : Bangalore unfeeling curry with butternut squash, potato, cauliflower, carrot and lentils baked with normal south Indian spices and coconut milk, served with perfumed rice.

Starter : Garlic mushrooms on sourdough toast or Hummus with pomegranate, carrot tapenade, preserved red cabbage and heirloom tomatoes, served with comfortable pitta bread

Main : Courgette, edamame and packet risotto with toasted seeds and beetroot and rosemary hummus or Thai immature curry with coconut and coriander rice, open rolls and honeyed chilli dipping sauce

Dessert : Chocolate and orange torte with hiss sauce

George’s Great British Kitchen – 2 courses for £10 or 3 courses for £15

Starter : Sweet peppers pate and hummus surfaced with toasted pumpernickel, served with baby rainbow carrots, radish, open onion, baby fennel, cucumber, celery and frail tomato prosaic bread for dipping

Main : Sweet potato dumplings served on bhaji smashed crispy courgette noodles, grilled courgettes, coconut yoghurt raita and well-spoken mango chutney

Dessert : Chocolate and orange truffle in buttery pastry, served with vegan chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Gusto – 2 courses and a potion of booze for £10

Starter : Bruschetta with tomato, basil and garlic, finished with additional pure olive oil

Main : Rainbow superfood salad with avocado, chickpeas, spiced pumpkin seeds and crispy flatbreads

Starter : Sun-blushed tomato arancini, honeyed basil relish, black sesame or Shiitake fungus and well-spoken tofu gyozas, preserved ginger and balsamic soy

Main : Grilled seitan, hummus, romaine, pickles, raita and additional chilli salsa or 5-spice panko tofu, tawny peanut sauce, steamed rice, honeyed pickles, chilli and cashews

Dessert : Docks espresso, Northern Bloc vanilla ice-cream, dim chocolate shavings served with Ritz wafers
