Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles Co-Owns Austin Mexican Restaurant

— Nick Foles, a quarterback of Super Bowl winners a Philadelphia Eagles and a game’s MVP final night, happens to be one of a co-owners of fancier downtown Mexican grill ATX Cocina. His father, Larry Foles, is one of a co-partners behind countless Austin restaurants: Roaring Fork, Salty Sow, Red Ash, Tumble 22 (and a forthcoming brick-and-mortar T22 Chicken Joint), as good as ATX Cocina. He also founded Eddie V’s, that he sold to Darden Restaurants.

— Contigo’s PJ Edwards shared a restaurant’s duck wing secrets, generally given a downtown food gymnasium outpost features a ornithology dish. The brine includes aromatics like peppercorns and brook leaves and a buffalo salsa creates use of duck fat from Contigo’s rotisserie chickens.
