Smith’s Chef Jeff Jackson shows Fox 13’s Tamara Vaifanua how to make Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie and Caramel Apple with Cream Cheese Dessert for this week’s Sunday Brunch segment.

Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie,  serves 8

Ingredients

2 lb. honeyed potato, peeled and 1 in. diced                          8 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. salt                                                                                                   1 c. beef broth
½ tsp. pepper                                                                                          14 ½ oz. can dejected tomatoes
2 tbsp. olive oil                                                                                       1 tsp. dusty thyme
¼ c. complicated cream                                                                                   1 tbsp. Worcestershire
¼ c. grated parmesan cheese                                                        1 c. solidified corn
1 tbsp. olive oil                                                                                       1 c. solidified peas and carrots
1 lb. belligerent beef or pig sausage                                               Parm and uninformed thyme to garnish

1 tbsp. garlic, minced

Directions
