Starbucks has a new over-the-top take on a Unicorn Frappuccino designed to take over Instagram


Starbucks baristas are buzzing about a new libation that seems engineered to replicate a success of a Unicorn Frappuccino.

The Crystal Ball Frappuccino debuted on Thursday, Mar 22. It will will sojourn on a menu for 4 days, or until reserve run out.

The Crystal Ball Frappuccino is an alluring streaked turquoise, ideal for Instagram. The cream-based Frappuccino uses pink flavors and is surfaced with churned cream and rock-candy crystals.

“The sorcery happens when a peach-flavored churned cream is sprinkled with one of 3 colored candy gems, any tone signifying a opposite happening in clear blue, immature and purple,” Starbucks pronounced in a matter on Thursday morning.

The matter continued: “Only a fates can confirm that tone is suggested – a patron will not know that tone of candy gem will tip a beverage.”

In Apr 2017, Starbucks had a whirlwind success with a Unicorn Frappuccino, a sweet, color-changing splash that fast went viral on Instagram. Like a Unicorn Frappuccino and other follow-up drinks, such as a Zombie Frappuccino, a Crystal Ball Frappuccino is designed to be aesthetically appreciative and will be on menus for reduction than a week.

Despite a success of a Unicorn Frappuccino, Starbucks’ Frappuccino sales have slumped over a past dual years. In late January, Starbucks announced skeleton to finish a renouned Frappuccino Happy Hour deal after a graduation unsuccessful to expostulate sales in summer 2017.
