Second Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Arizona is now open in Arcadia

There’s mounting evidence that Phoenix is branch into “Chicago West.”

Lou Malnati’s, a Chicago-based, deep-dish pizza titan, opens its second Phoenix branch during 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Indian School Road and 56th Street. Unlike a original, the Arcadia location is designed as a carryout, smoothness and catering outlet. There’s no list service.

Customers can call in orders or place them online. Be certain to check a website to see if we are in a smoothness area.

“We are respected to have a event to emanate new friends within a Arcadia community, and demeanour brazen to providing them a famous Chicago-style low plate pizza for years to come,” company owners Marc Malnati pronounced in statement.

Phoenix is famous for a engorgement of Chicago transplants, and is a leading shipping end for Lou Malnati’s solidified pizza smoothness service, called Taste of Chicago. It explains why Arizona final year became a initial enlargement state for Lou Malnati’s, that has scarcely 50 locations in metro Chicago.

  • Phoenix’s initial Lou Malnati’s non-stop to many pushing in May 2016 during a bustling Uptown Plaza on Camelback Road and Central Avenue.

  • The Arcadia plcae is reduction than 3 miles divided from Gino’s East, another Chicago-based, deep-dish pizza grill that non-stop in April.

  • Arizona’s third location — a 10,000-square-foot, full-service grill — is entrance to Scottsdale subsequent summer, at Chauncey Lane and Scottsdale Road, near Loop 101.

The idea is to open another six to 8 locations, some as “hubs” such as a Uptown Plaza grill and others as carryout/delivery spots.

Lou Malnati’s deep-dish pizzas are done from California vine-ripened tomatoes, a flaky membrane and Wisconsin cheese from a same dairy purveyor for some-more than 40 years.
