Phil McCarn Named VP, Global Partnership Marketing For Harlem Globetrotters

ATLANTA, Jan. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ – The Harlem Globetrotters have named Phil McCarn a Vice President, Global Partnership Marketing.  In this role, McCarn will concentration on building vital alliances, partnerships and sponsorships for a group that is entering a 92nd season.

McCarn comes to a Globetrotters from IMG College, a multiplication of Endeavor (formerly WME) where he was a sales personality on a Georgia Tech IMG Sports Marketing group that achieved record revenues during his tenure.  Previously, McCarn gave sales care to all properties within a IMG College Events, Entertainment and Development division. He has also served as Senior Vice President, Business Development for Encompass International, a organisation specializing in sponsorship sales and consulting for Olympic parties, several competition properties and Fortune 500 brand.  McCarn led a Property Consulting multiplication for CSE, providing conference and business growth efforts to several competition properties, including NASCAR, teams in a NBA and NFL, several venues and countless collegiate jaunty conferences. 

Early in his career, McCarn played a distinguished purpose as Director of Sales Marketing in a reinvention and lapse to profitability of a PGA TOUR’s Wyndham Championship. A connoisseur of Appalachian State University, he began his career during a Greensboro (N.C.) Sports Commission.
