Meat Week’s Back
Remember a time we ate vegetarian/vegan dishes for a week? Yeah, me either.
This Sunday outlines a lapse of Meat Week to Saytown, and it seems like it’ll be a brawny one. The jubilee of all things beef and smoked, that facilities stops during internal grill joints for specials, kicked off this past Saturday with a stop during 2M Smokehouse Catering.

Wednesday, Feb 1: King’s Hwy. Brew Q will applaud their monthly First Wednesday with song by DJ Free Verse, live art sessions by Nik Soupe and friends and hulk beef ribs by pitmaster Emilio Soliz. 6:30pm, 1012 N. Flores St.
Thursday, Feb 2: Beef tips, honeyed potato casserole, overwhelming brisket — what some-more do we need? The Big Bib plays hosts on Day 5 of this meat-a-thon. 6:30pm, 104 Lanark Drive.

Carnitas Are Coming
Souhthown’s juicy corridors are expanding into South Roosevelt these days with a arriving opening of Carnitas Lonja, a new eatery by Alex Paredes before with Lüke San Antonio.
A standout during this year’s San Antonio Cocktail Conference’s Opening Night party, Paredes is one half of Gallo/Toro pop-ups, a judgment he launched during his time during Lüke. With Carnitas Lonja (which means marketplace or some-more colloquially, adore handles), Paredes will move a menu of carnitas, chicharron, frijoles and quesadillas along with hand-made tortillas to a 700-square-foot space. 1107 Roosevelt Ave.
Pinch’s Founders Club
Restaurants are costly — opening a grill in downtown San Antonio and portion seafood, doubly so. To assistance strech their idea of opening someday this spring, a Pinch Boil House Bia Bar guys are once again reaching out to their fans.
Sean Wen and Andrew Ho, who introduced Pinch in early 2016 with Vietnamese-style crawfish boil pop-ups opposite downtown, launched a Founders Club this afternoon with honeyed bonuses for donors. Donations are damaged down into 3 levels: a $50 grant receives a $100 Pinch present card, $99 receives a $200 Pinch present label and $199 receives a $400 Pinch present card.

Folc Announces Bexar Pub
According to cook Luis Colon, he and business partner Daniel Eisenhauer are holding their talents to a easterly side to open Bexar Pub. The Folc Burger (named a No. 1 Burger in Texas by Texas Monthly final summer) along with a menu of signature burgers, boiled chicken, and other pub snacks will make their approach to a space that once housed Toro Taco Bar.

Renovations are still being done to a space, including a further of a gas line and a new paint job. Shake Shake in SA
Whataburger is removing some-more foe these days from another burger chain, this time hailing from a East Coast.
Danny Meyer-founded Shake Shack, famous for a fast-casual burgers, prohibited dogs, crinkle-cut fries and shakes is opening a plcae in San Antonio after this year as reliable by a San Antonio Express-News. Launched in 2004 in Madison Square Park, a code now operates 100 stores as of 2016 with locations in North America, Japan, a Middle East, Russia, Turkey, a U.K. and South Korea.
According to a Express-News, a store will be located during a southwest dilemma of 410 and San Pedro.
