Dairy Queen franchisee expanding to Knoxville area

One of America’s many iconic grill brands, Dairy Queen, is creation a quip in a Knoxville area, with one new store already open in Morristown, another removing prepared to open in Farragut subsequent month, and others underneath construction or planned.

Dairy Queen’s largest franchisee, 34-year-old Matt Frauenshuh, and his company, Fourteen Foods, already possess 180 of a DQ Chill Grill stores in 10 states, and Frauenshuh says he skeleton to open about 15 sum in a Knoxville area.

“I’m from Minnesota, and I’ve always desired a purpose Dairy Queen plays in a community,” Frauenshuh said. “We are a faith-based company, and we get to share in singular practice with a customers. My family started with one grill in 2002 in Minnesota.”

He pronounced he already has 80 of a DQ Chill Grill locations in Kentucky, and has other stores in Middle Tennessee, Iowa, Florida, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Alabama.

“I have a rights from DQ for many of Tennessee, all though a Memphis area,” he said. “Knoxville was a ideal fit for us. It’s a clever mercantile marketplace that’s stability to grow, and geographically it creates clarity with a expansion plan.”

All of a DQ stores in a Knoxville area will offer breakfast, he added.

“DQ is one of a fastest-growing grill brands,” Frauenshuh said. “It’s singular in a grill world, and it fills a niche identical to that of Chick-fil-A, focusing on village values. Our stores get to share a lot of hub-of-the-community experiences.”
