Strangers have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars after training that one longtime Chicago proprietor was struggling to compensate his bills.
Fidencio Sanchez, 89, has been pulling his ice cream transport by a streets of Chicago for 23 years.
“I arise adult early and all day until 8 during night,” Sanchez told ABC associate WLS-TV in Chicago around a translator.
A few weeks ago, Sanchez’s daughter died and he and his mother were unexpected caring for their dual grandsons.
Sanchez afterwards returned to work offered ice cream.
“We thought, ‘What are we going to do? We have to compensate a bills,'” he said.
