Meals on Wheels
Meals are delivered Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in Salida and Buena Vista. Each lunch is served with milk. Most are served with bread and butter.
The Upper Arkansas Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program provides rally dishes with a same menus, served during noon Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during a Episcopal Church of a Ascension, Fourth and E streets, Salida. Call 539-3342 before 9:30 a.m. for rally dish reservations. Cost for a dish is a intentional grant for seniors age 60 and older; people younger than 60 compensate $11.60.
Community dishes are served during Salida Community Center, 305 F St., during 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Suggested concession is $5 for people 60 and comparison or $7 for those younger than 60.
