Roll Ice Cream Coffee, Highlandtown’s newest stop for sweets, is dishing out samples in a sleet as it prepares to start portion ice cream during a cold snap.

During a winter, Roll will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday by Friday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The emporium will offer coffee and pastries all day, and ice cream in a afternoons and evenings.
