California charbroiled burger sequence comes to Gaithersburg

WASHINGTON — Habit Burger, a California-based burger sequence that got a start as a shed on a beach in Santa Monica in 1969, has set a charbroiled sights on a DMV.

Habit Burger, that has been a publicly traded company given 2014, might have musty Southern California roots, though it is not a tiny chain, with some-more than 200 locations.

Habit Burger will open a third D.C.-area plcae Jan. 6, in Gaithersburg, during 464 N. Frederick Avenue. Habit Burger now has restaurants in Rockville, Maryland, and Ashburn, Virginia, with skeleton for during slightest 3 some-more D.C.-area locations by spring.

Future locations embody Waldorf, Maryland, in Feb and University Park, Maryland, in May.

Consumer Reports ranks Habit Burger, that creates a burgers on immaculate steel charbroilers with cast-iron grills, among a best-tasting burgers.

The eatery serves adult some-more than charbroiled burgers. The menu also includes line-caught tuna, honeyed potato fries, tempura immature beans, duck and salads. And, in loyal SoCal-style, a grill offers avocado toppings.
